Sara Kehaulani Goo is a leader and innovator in the news industry, with a specialization of digital news content within the fast-changing world of media as consumer habits, platform algorithms and ownership undergo constant change. She has led some of the biggest legacy newsrooms to one of the buzziest start-ups. She currently runs WP Creator Network, a new business within The Washington Post Co., focused on the creator economy.
Sara is an entrepreneurial thinker with a track record of developing journalism into successful products, from newsletters to podcasts to live journalism. Prior to The Post, she served as editor-in-chief at Axios and oversaw its newsroom expansion as a start-up through acquisition. She has overseen award-winning stories and investigative work at Axios, and previously served as digital managing editor at NPR. Sara is the author of Kuleana -- a story of family, land and legacy in Old Hawai'i (Flatiron, 2025).
