As a digital news producer for Reuters, Kate works alongside reporters all over the world, bringing breaking news and special investigations to screens in a way that cuts through the noise, resonates with a young audience and shows them why it matters.

Kate specializes in vertical-video content that strikes a balance between finding a personal connection with consumers, while remaining anchored in verification and transparency. She focuses on reporter-led pieces that speak directly to our audience, drawing on creator strategies, most significantly on TikTok where Reuters followers have grown exponentially over the last year — now sitting at over 3 million.

Prior to joining Reuters in 2024, Kate was a producer for CTV News, one of Canada’s most-watched news networks. She earned her journalism degree at Toronto Metropolitan University.
