Beatrice Peterson is an ABC News enterprise reporter for the network and its broadcast and digital platforms.
For the last decade, she has covered a wide range of local, national, and international news across the U.S. and beyond — as she has focused her work across areas including politics, justice, law enforcement, race & culture, and breaking news.
Previously, she served as a 2020 campaign reporter for ABC News, traveling across the U.S. covering several Democratic candidates for the 2020 U.S. Presidential election. In the summer of 2020, she reported on the racial unrest and demonstrations across Washington, D.C., following the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police, while also covering the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before her tenure at ABC News, Beatrice spent four years at POLITICO as a video producer, where she hosted, wrote, edited, and produced a daily news series called "Today in Trumpworld," where she focused on the relationship between the White House, government, public policy, and politics.
Beatrice’s work and career highlights have been featured in Harper's Bazaar and Glamour magazines.
