Megan Griffith-Greene is on the faculty at the Poynter Institute, focused in helping funders effectively support local news in their communities. Prior to joining Poynter, Megan spent more than two decades in newsrooms in audience strategy, investigative journalism, service and audience-centered journalism, health and arts reporting, new storytelling formats, innovation and experimentation labs and more. She's worked in both the U.S. and Canada, including at The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
